I tried a new effect of a black gloss stencil in a black matt background.
I am going to try reversing the matt and gloss to see if the effect works better.
All in all I am happy with the outcome.
The top two are angled shots so that you can see it under different lighting.
The bottom left is the same stencil on my "practicing board" and the bottom
right is the stencil on canvas with the correct lighting.

First art gallery rejection

I took my art into an new art gallery in chilliwack. I showed them all of my canvases. It didn't seem that any of my art was the same style as what they had on display. The only piece that they were interested in was the polka dot punk girl. They told me that if they ever did an anime style show they would give me a call.
